Terms and Conditions:

PAYMENT TERMS: A Credit card deposit will be required to reserve equipment. Payment arrangements are required to be paid in full 24 hours before delivery. Security deposits may be required for certain rental items, such as; glassware and china. This deposit will be refunded after the inspection of returned equipment. No credit will be issued for any unused rentals.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Your Order will be packed and loaded a day before delivery. All changes must be made by 12:00 noon the day before delivery to avoid additional charges. Changes to orders after 2:00 pm the day before delivery can be made at an additional cost to your original order.

DELIVERY & PICK UP: Delivery is based on the time and location of your event; with standard delivery consisting of our regular business hours. All deliveries will be made at street level, unless prior arrangements made. A timed delivery is also available for an additional fee and arrangements must be made in advance.

SET UP & BREAKDOWN: Arrangements must be made in advance for set-up and break down service at an additional cost. Furthermore, Chairs and tables will be delivered stacked, please have items stacked for pick up.

GLASSWARE & CHINA: All china, glassware, silverware, and food services items must be rinsed food-free and repacked properly in boxes provided.

LOSS OR DAMAGE: Responsibility for equipment remains with customer from delivery until return. Please secure items when not in use and protect them from the weather. Replacement fees are made for missing or broken items. Moist or wet linens should not be bundled or bagged. Please lay open until completely dry, for mildew stains cannot be removed. All equipment should be ready for pick up. Please place all items in single location.

ORDER VERIFICATION: Client is advised to have a representative on site to verify and sign for equipment upon delivery and pick-up to verify counts as client assumes all liability for missing or damaged equipment.

WAITING TIME: If we arrive for a timed delivery or pick-up and are forced to wait more than 30 minutes, a labor charge of $50.00 per hour per truck will be applied.

CANCELATIONS: Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours prior to delivery at NO charge. Cancelations in the final 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50%. Cancellations the day of delivery will be subject to 100% of the total bill. Partial items that are cancelled on delivery will be charged 50% of the cost.

Alex Party Rentals is not responsible for any damage cause by equipment on hardwood, tiled or other type of floors. Furthermore, Alex Party Rentals shall not be responsible for damages or personal injuries which occur while the equipment is in the renter’s possession. Thus, renter accepts the equipment “as is”.
